Book consists of softback green card covers + title page + 8 spreads carrying 8 colour plates + 2 text pages about the plates in French. First inside cover is blank with the rear inside cover and outer inside cover advertising the Autour du Monde series.

This book contains 8 colour plates of Chinese subject matter. This is early Chinese photography which would have been hand tinted albumen prints originally. The colour reproductions here or of very high quality and interesting subject matter (see photographs).

Very good condition - minor discoloration to extremities (see photographs).
