A good cloth hardback with gilt titles and Sphinx design to front cover. Spine slightly skewed, but all soundly bound. Cover rubbed and bumped with some sun fading to top quarter rear of cover.

Ex-library with remains of library labels. Official withdrawn stamp and library reference number to spine. A little cracking to inner front joint. Some spotting to endpapers, but text remains clean and bright throughout. A good reading copy of an uncommon first edition.
