French Laos militaria - Bayonet and Spearhead, 1893-1953
A graphic example of the difference between the defences of European and South East Asian forces - here is a steel bayonet from a French rifle, paired up with a spear head from a soldier from either Laos or Siam (Thailand) - or perhaps even a Hmong rebel. Both discovered in Laos.
The French ruled in Laos between 1893 and 1953.
Condition of these is untouched - rusted and worn, as found.
