A good hardback binding with black leather spine , raised bands and gilt titles. With patterned paper over boards. With some bumping and wear, and leather to spine faded and worn. All soundly bound. Marbled endpapers, with bookplate and numbered label.
Text is clean throughout with age toning to pages. The two original photographic portrait covers are well presented. 1 x 3cm edge tear to p. 20 of the second section.
