A large unbroken run of The Gramophone/Gramophone classical music magazine, bound into 42 volumes, spanning July 1951-May 1993. Volumes XXIV - Volume 70.
Published by General Gramophone Publications Ltd, Middlesex, England. Gramophone was founded by Scottish author, Compton Mackenzie, in 1923, and is still going strong today.
A very good set of the magazines bound into 42 volumes in a variety of bindings. Most with stiff card covers. Some full hardback. Also included are a variety of other books and brochures on the same subject matter (see photos).
Dimensions: Approximate size typically, of each volume: 275mm high x 215mm wide.
Shelf space width required of approximately 1.55m. Wooden shelves in the photograph not included! Please note the last 3 volumes - 1991-1993 are included, but not featured in the photograph.
