A good hardback in original Publisher's red cloth binding with blind stamped front cover decoration and gilt to spine. Some bumping and wear and sun fading to spine and top area of cloth. Bumping to head and tail, and cloth frayed to a 1cm area at rear joint at head of spine. A little give in the spine. Endpapers with age spotting, and spotting to text block edges with a few small indents, and previous owner's signature to first free endpaper.
Text and plates are bright and clean throughout and present attractively. Probably an unread copy as many pages are still uncut at top edge.
