A very good attractive hardback with calf leather spine and corners, with raised bands and gilt decoration. Spine darkened. Boards with very minor rubbing. Some cracking to inner joint endpapers. Binding completely sound.
Text is nice and bright throughout with some age spotting to the endpapers, and occasional minor age spotting to text. Last free blank endpaper a bit creased with a small 3mm nibble from the top edge. A handsome volume in an unusually good binding for this title.
