Provenance - Volumes carry 2 pictorial bookplates and a third of simpler design: James & Laura E. Stuart of Carrow Abbey, Norwich'; one from 'Aedes Carthisianae' and a presentation bookplate to Vincent Stuart Harley Russell commemorating 35 years as a teacher.
A good set of burgundy cloth hardbacks with blind stamped Greek borders to covers and gilt titles to spine. Covers with some scrapes, wear and bumping.
Some cracking to endpaper inner hinges. Some age spotting to endpapers. Occasional minor page flaw such as a small marginal tear, but overall text is clean and bright, making for a very readable set.
