Extremely scarce volume, but sadly damaged and incomplete (a child has evidently damaged this book for their entertainment). Unnumbered copy.

This large volume consists of the following:

Cover: 
Brown cloth over board with quarter leather binding, with elaborate coloured Chinese design on the leather. Spine section is detached, but present. Covers shelf worn and marked.

Text: 
227pp all present, and in generally very good condition. p89-90 detached.Pages 95-98 have corners or lower parts torn and missing (though text unaffected). Pages 142-143, 171, 178 have colored pencil scribbles, small tear to p175.

Plates:
Main damage is to the plates section.
This is not a detailed collation of plates as there is significant damage, but please contact us if you require sepcific information.
Of the 32 original plates, approximately 6 are missing completely or significantly, 18 are detached and a number of plates have marks, scribbles and tears.
