A good hardback with marbled boards and leather spine and corners. Raised bands, gilt and red title label to spine. Covers bumped and scuffed and leather worn and scuffed also, with some cracking along hinge. Marbled endpapers with Haileybury College library label, and one other library stamp inside.
Text block is soundly bound with marbled edges. Some offsetting to title frontispiece spread, and foxing to endpapers at extremities. Occasional light scattered foxing in the text, but overall text is bright and clean, making for a very usable copy.
Dimensions: Each volume approx 178mm high x 124mm wide x 40mm deep.
