This is a wonderful scarce set of 40 large plates of Chinese paintings selected from American collections by Osvald Siren. Large folio size.

This large folio consists of an outer wrap of heavy paper with stengthened spine (repaired). Cover is fair condition, but is somewhat worn, soiled and frayed. Inside there is a 41pp introduction with detailed descriptions of the plates by Osvald Siren printed on loose 4 page sections. Good condition but some staining to top right corner of first few pages.

This is followed by the 40 individual plates which are in generally very good condition.

This is a scarce set and wonderful to find such large quality plates of Chinese paintings.
