Prima Versione Italiana, Di Guglielmo Villarosa.
Published Napoli, Stabiilimento Tipografico di Gaetano Nobile, 1845.
Very scarce Italian printing - no copies listed at all on Worldcat or COPAC. Appears to have been a Spanish printing in the same year.
Hardback with cloth spine and marbled boards. Very good overall. Binding is sound and text is near fine overall - some mild spotting and age discoloration but really a nice clean copy. No engraved plate pages.
Some cracking to pastedown joints, but binding completely sound. Ex-library copy - Franciscan Monastery in Washington DC, so not publicly lent. Minimal library marking - ink stamps to title page, first free endpaper and ink catalogue number to spine, but that's all. Some shelfwear to covers. Please see photographs.
