Published by Robert Hale, London. 1968 first edition. Inscribed by the author to first free endpaper, along with a handwritten letter to the same person - James Forsyth of The Broadway bookshop in Peterbough, thanking him for helping the author whilst he worked on the book. Also included are 2 pages of colour copied content from Recorder News, a publication on transfer printed ceramics, which includes reference to Robert Burns.

A very good cloth hardback with good dustjacket. The dustjacket has a couple of taped repairs verso as well as spotting on the same side, and is a little shelfworn. Sun faded to spine.

The book is clean and tightly bound. A few marks to edge of textblock.
