This unassuming little book is actually a highly significant publication. The U.S. Library of Congress cites it as marking the beginning of Russian-American book publishing in the U.S., just one year after the U.S. purchased Alaska from Russia. It is the very first Russian-American book published in the U.S.
A good paperback with discolored covers. Some corner creasing and general wear. Previous owner's signature to title page. Text is clean and bright and all still bound.
