This copy is hand numbered 1368, of 2,500 copies, and comes with a letter from Waterstone's to one of their branches, enclosing the book as a thankyou for their contribution to Waterstone's success. The letter is dated 15 November 1995, and the book publication details also date to 1995.

A very good black cloth hardback with unique Waterstone's design with gilt facsimile signature of Salman Rushdie to the front cover. Mild shelf wear and a small indentation to the top edge. No dustjacket - as issued.
