A very good set of attractive hardbacks with calf leather spines and corners, with raised bands and gilt decoration. Spines darkened with rubbing and wear. Boards scuffed and bumped. Binding completely sound. With author's and publisher's ink stamps for authenticity.

Text is nice and bright throughout with some age spotting to the endpapers. A handsome set in an unusually good binding for this set.
