Provenance; from the library of the late William St Clair (1937 - 2021), British historian, academic and author. His signature to first pastedown noting Trinity College Cambridge and remark that the book was Peter Fraser's copy (a noted Classicist and specialist on Hellenistic Greece, and fellow of Oxford, and Director of the British School at Athens). No further annotations by him to text. A good blue cloth hardback. With some bumping to head and tail and sun faded to spine. Text is very good - nice and clean and soundly bound. Illustrated. Additional previous owner's signatures to first free endpaper.
