A very good, approaching near fine, grey cloth hardback with tipped on colour print to cover. Cloth with printed thistle design and gilt title to cover and spine. Mild bumping and wear to extremities.

Text is clean and bright throughout with some light spotting to endpapers. Text with rough cut vertical edge, as issued. The colour plates are bright and clean. Two of the colour plates have handwritten titles written in the margins.

An attractive publication.
