A rather wonderful example of this work by Alastair Gray. Alongside the immaculate book is a postcard sent by Alastair Gray on the 3 Feb 2001 to S.D. Thomson. The postcard is handwritten by Gray on both sides, and details a correction he would like to make to the book on the origin of the name of Scotland’s capital city, Edinburgh, following a letter he received from S.D. Thomson on the subject.

The card carries Gray’s printed address and is signed by him and includes white strip corrections by Gray. The book also comes with the errata slip which was issued at the time of publication, and an additional errata slip sent by Gray with the card, with a handwritten addition relating to the subject discussed.
