A good set. Half leather green covers with marbled boards. Shelf worn and leather worn at extremities. Binding is sound. Previous owner's signature to first pastedown. Text is very good - generally nice and clean with some occasional spotting. Endpapers more recent, except for the end of Volume 3 where there is some cracking at the joint, but all still soundly bound. The featured plates really lift this set to become a really attractive publication.
