This wonderful book highlight's John Speed's remarkable atlas of Great Britain which was first published in 1611-12. All sixty-seven maps are reproduced here in full colour, from the British Library's copy.

A very good black cloth hardback in dustjacket. Some scuffing and wear to edges of dustjacket, particularly lower edge of rear. Price clipped inner flap. One small spot to front cover. minor spotting to edges of text block. Otherwise, text is lovely and clean and soundly bound. A beautiful publication.
