A very scarce set of 'The Enid Blyton Literary Society Journal', which changed its name to 'The Enid Blyton Society Journal' from issue 9 onwards. The Society continues to publish this journal 3 times a year.

An unbroken run, comprising 23 issues, dating from Summer 1996 to Spring 2004. These are the original first-run issues, with Nos. 1-8 having mono printed covers (which were later reprinted in colour in a subsequent reprint). A scarce set.

Published by Enid Blyton Limited (The Enid Blyton Society), formed by Tony Summerfield, Norman Wright, and Michael Rouse, and the Society President, Gillian Baverstock.

Most are in in fine condition - bright, clean and soundly bound. A few minor flaws - issue 1 has a stain on the front cover. Each issue consists of printed card wraps and mostly black text inside, with some colour in later issues. Includes 2 loose leaf letters from The Enid Blyton Literary Society, including one handwritten letter by Michael Rouse.

Text in English.

Typically 32 - 68pp per issue.

Approximate dimensions of each issue: 212mm high x 146mm wide.

Weight approximately 1.67kg (the set - unpacked).
