A substantial hardback with leather corners and spine with raised bands, gilt decoration, and morocco labels. With a dark teal cloth over boards. A good copy with scrapes, bumps and wear to leather. Cloth with some soiling, scuffing and bumping. With marbled endpapers and matching marbled edges to text block. Soundly bound. Spotting to blank endpapers.
Text is bright and clean throughout, and the contents are attractively presented with high quality illustrations. Full page plates are tissue guarded. Occasional light scattered spotting, but overall content presents very nicely.
