A good hardback with marbled paper over boards and leather to spine and corners. Covers are worn, rubbed and bumped, and the leather is tired. Some splitting to endpapers at front. Previous owners' signature and stamp to first free endpaper and opposite title. Text block is good throughout. Nice and clean with occasional age spotting and a few pencil annotations. Some offsetting to plate - contains one plate opening the Essays of Dr Goldsmith section. Some mild offsetting opposite. Some corner creases.
