The Modern Antiquarian; A Pre-Millennial Odyssey Through Megalithic Britain, including a Gazetteer to over 300 prehistoric Sites, by Julian Cope.

SOLD

A very personal journey across Britain by Julian Cope, former frontman of The Teardrop Explodes, documenting over 300 of Britain's pre-historic sites, all personally visited, photographed and described by the author. Also includes over 50 Poems.

Published by Thorsons, an Imprint of HarperCollins Publishers, London, 1998 first edition, first impression.

A near fine copy of this interesting volume. A near fine hardback, with printed paper over boards. Housed in a slipcase, also with printed paper over boards. The slipcase is also near fine, with just a few minor impressions.

The spine has some sun fading (not surprising, as it is printed with a neon coloured orange ink which is prone to fade in daylight). The book itself appears unread, and is bright, clean and soundly bound. Text block with rainbow coloured edges demarcating sections of the book.
