A very good set overall. Red cloth hardback with elaborate gilt and black stamped cover. Some mild bumping to extremities. Overall covers are clean and bright, but the spines have some soiling. Text is clean and bright throughout, with some foxing near plates.  Text blocks all bound, if slightly shaken. Some discoloration to endpapers. Minor spotting to edges of text block. An attractive set. Uncommon.

Vol 1: Prelims + 328pp + tissue guarded plates. Some discoloration to endpapers.
Vol 2: Prelims + 296pp + tissue guarded plates. Some foxing to text at front and rear ends.
Vol 3: Prelims + 312pp + tissue guarded plates. Some discoloration to endpapers. Some foxing to front few pages.
