Published by R. Chapman, Glasgow, 1812. An uncommon early guide book for visitors to the city of Glasgow. The first time we have seen this book - only 20 copies in institutional holdings on Worldcat.
A good hardback with red leather spine and corners. Bumped and scuffed with wear to edge of boards. Soundly bound. Inner hinges cracked but all still securely bound. Offsetting to corners of free endpapers from leather corners.
Spotting to titles and plate locations. Text is good, with scattered spotting and finger marks. A few short trimmed rough edges at the lower edge.
