A beautifully bound copy of this book - full green leather with gilt decoration and raised bands. The slightest of bumping to one corner and one small fleck in the leather on the vertical spine edge. Full gilt edges to text block - still bright and shiny. Feathered marble endpapers with no cracking. Owner's script inscription to blank endpaper.

The text is not in as fine a state as the binding. Whilst tight and soundly bound, the pages have frequent foxing and spotting to edges of block can be seen when open. The paper itself is still bright. Still a handsome addition to any book shelf.
