A near fine, full tan leather hardback with raised bands and gilt tooled decoration to spine. With green morocco title label. Gilt lined border to covers. The covers with some spotted splash marks and light wear. Internally the pastedowns have gilt dentelles and marbled endpapers with metallic veined design. Small bookseller's label of Harry Harvey, Oxford. All soundly bound.

Text is beautifully clean and bright throughout. With shiny Gilt edges to text block, which turn red when fanned. Presentation inscription and 1906 date to first blank free endpaper. With guarded portrait frontispiece at front. An attractive volume.
