A good burgundy cloth hardback with embossed design and gilt titles. Covers bumped and spine faded with wear to head and tail. Some slight give in the binding, but all soundly bound. Endpapers rubbed and last few endpapers with some staining - only affecting blank and publisher's ad.

Text is very good. Clean and bright with no spotting.
