A very good hardback with blue leather corners and spine with raised bands and gilt decoration to spine and covers. With marbled paper covered boards, with some spotting. Some light bumping and wear to extremities. Marbled endpapers with mild offsetting opposite leather edges. Missing a blank free endpaper at the front. With portrait frontispiece. Soundly bound.

Text is bright and clean, with bright gilt edges to text block.
