A very good set of two substantial hardbacks with brown cloth covers and calf leather spine and corners. Spines with raised bands and morocco title labels with gilt lined decals. Some scuffing and bumping with some cracking to outer joints at head and tail of spine. Soundly bound. Some cracking to endpapers at inner hinge.

Text is clean and bright throughout with some light age spotting on the first and last few pages. The tissue guarded engravings are also in very good condition. An attractive set with a little wear.
