A fair hardback with leather spine with gilt and raised bands, with matbled paper over boards. Covers are bumped and worn with some paper loss to front and leather loss to rear. Previous owner's signature to endpaper. 

Dampstaining throughout, although text still legible and clear. The staining is most pronounced at the front of book, particularly the endpapers and early pages.
