Vintage Pathescope Motocamera with unused film and accessories, c. 1930
Vintage Pathescope Motocamera with film and accessories, c. 1930.
An original Pathescope cine camera for 9.5mm film, in leather case with accessories.
The camera is in very good condition and the wind up motorised mechanism appears to be working fine, which is as much testing as we can do.
The camera comes with its original booklet and printed on the rear is 'Motocamera, No. 46A, Anglais, 7-5-30. So we presume the date is circa 1930. Booklet is worn and creased with tear to front cover, but all pages present.
Camera handle is strong and clean,
The lens says Berthiot Paris Stellor F3.5/138117. Adjustable markings for aperture from 3.5 to 14. Inside the camera is the serial number V54454. With original instruction sheet inside the camera door.
Viewfinder is clean and sharp.
Camera has one lens cap fitted and a spare in the box, along with a lens cleaning brush.
What is very nice indeed is the camera comes with 3 completely unused 'Pathescope 9.5mm Reload' films (known as chargers), still wrapped and boxed.
Leather case is strong and good quality, with velvet lining. No key present, but is currently unlocked. It clicks shut and is opened by pushing the metallic disc surrounding the lock downwards.
A really nice vintage set.
Weight: approximately 2.22kg, unpacked (the set).
Case dimensions: approximately 21cm x 14cm x 8.5cm.
