Comprises two main sections; Wallenstein's Lager (Wallenstein's Camp), with prologue, and Wallenstein's Tod, ein Trauerspiel in funf Uuszugen (Wallenstein's death, a tragedy in five parts). The drama is based on events from The Thirty Year's War, and was originally completed in 1799, and published the following year.

Full calf leather which is worn and rubbed. With blind embossed decoration and gilt borders, with raised bands to spine. Leather with losses to spine and binding is somewhat fragile. Cracked joints, with old tape support to front cover. Marbled endpapers. First blank endpapers are loose.
Text is generally clean and clear, with scattered spotting throughout.
