A travelogue of George Cochrane's journey to Greece where he first arrived in 1837, in a steamship commanded by his uncle, admiral Thomas Cochrane, to strengthen the Greek naval fleet in the War of Independence. He made two further trips to Greece between 1834 and 1836.
