Wanderings of a Bird-Lover in Africa, Madeline Alston, 1937
Wanderings of a Bird-Lover in Africa, by Madeline Alston. With foreword by The Right Hon. The Earl of Clarendon. With coloured frontispiece and pencil drawings by Moubray Leigh.
Published by H. F. & G. Witherby Ltd, London, 1937. First edition.
A good copy of this green cloth hardback with dustjacket. The dustjacket is heavily worn - discoloured, with nicks and losses and taped repairs. The cloth covers are also faded and bumped. First endpaper joint is worn through to webbing, but book is still soundly bound. Some spotting to endpapers and text block edges. The text itself is nice and clean throughout.
An imperfect copy, but priced accordingly.
