This lovely edition features a reprint of Exercitatio Anatomica De Motu Cordis Et Sanguinis In Animalibus, published by Guilielmi Fitzeri of Frankfurt in 1628, and; The Anatomical Exercises of Dr. William Harvey, published by The Nonesuch Press of London in 1928 (the translation being by Geoffrey Keynes). Numbered copy.
A fine copy, in a very attractive full russet brown leather binding, with gilt decoration and raised bands to spine. With marbled endpapers, shiny gilt edges to text block and satin page marker ribbon. With Classics of Medicine bookplate to first pastedown - from the library of Dr James M Leith, and this copy numbered 538.
Text is bright and clean throughout. Soundly bound - looks to be unread. A very smart book indeed, making a handsome addition to any library.
