Book was bound by Fazakerley binder in Manchester - clearly to order, as this is a unique collection. There is a hand written index (in the hand of James Hope Moulton) on the first free endpaper, indicating that there are some 26 articles contained within, spanning dates from 1893-1914. The articles come from a variety of sources including The Journal of Theological Studies, International Congress of Medicine, The American Journal of Theology, the British Academy, Mansfield College Lecture, Journal of Biblical Literature, and some other published sources.

The book also contains some bound in written correspondence from some of the authors of these pamphlets to him, which makes this collection all the more unique.

A good navy blue hardback with gilt - ex-library with withdrawal stamps from the Library of Wesley House, Cambridge. James Hope Moulton's signature to first free endpaper (Methodist, Philologist and respected author, 1863-1917). 

Soundly bound, clean text pages, tipped in correspondence, and vertical text block edge shows the varying widths of the bound articles.
