Very good condition 1st edition hardback in green cloth with gold lettering to spine and gold motif to front. Some shelf wear and rubbing. Text generally very good throughout. Small booksellers label to inside front pastedown. Some cracking to spine endpapers, but binding sound. Some foxing to endpapers.
Text generally clean and birght, with some pencil annotations throughout. A large, high quality volume with xxiii + 336pp + tissue guarded colour frontispiece and 15 additional tissue guarded colour plates + 154 black and white plates.
