A full contemporary leather binding with polished tree calf covers. Spine with raised bands, tooled gilt, and red and black morocco title labels. Spine and outer hinges worn, with spine rather dried and faded, but all still soundly bound. Marbled endpapers and matching text block edges.

Some spotting to endpapers. Text is bright and clean throughout with occasional scattered marginal edge spots.

Overall a very good minus copy.
