A very good teal hardback with gilt titles to spine, and housed in a dustjacket designed by Vanessa Bell, Virginia Woolf's sister. Covers with light wear and some darkening to edges. The jacket is nibbled to extremities and has tape residue marks to rear. Some discoloration to spine and extremities and some wave-like crinkling to rear. Front inner flap with 2.5cm closed edge tear. Some mild offsetting to endpapers and a few light scattered spots to prelims. The jacket is now covered with protective, removable, clear plastic.
Text is bright and clean throughout and is soundly bound. Top edge with some light speckled spotting and edge toning. With 4pp promotional booklet from Hogarth Press.
