A good hardback with brown calf leather spine and corners, with raised bands, gilt, and black morocco label. With marbled paper over boards. Bumped and scuffed, but all soundly bound. Boards professionally rebacked.

Text is very good throughout - mild age toning with some spotting to endpapers. Ex-library - Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland, with ink stamps to title and opening page of the main text. 1.5cm marginal edge tear to first blank.
