Charles Rennie Mackintosh was commissioned by Blackie and Sons to design the covers for two series of their books - The Rambler Travel Books and Rambles Among Our Industries. This is a scarce example from the latter series. Uncommon - Worldcat identifies 22 copies of this 1913 printing in libraries worldwide.

Very good softback with with limp cloth covers with printed Mackintosh design. Mild wear and spine is a little sunned, but a very nice example indeed of this very scarce publication. Text is clean with scattered age spotting, and soundly bound. Illustrated throughout and with 4 colour plates (including frontispiece), all present. Endpapers age toned.
