Minority Report; H. L. Mencken's Notebooks by H. L. Mencken is a posthumous collection of the author's private notebooks, first published in 1956. Mencken, a leading American journalist, critic and satirist of the early twentieth century, was known for his sharp commentary on politics, culture and society. This volume brings together a series of reflections, aphorisms and observations that capture his distinctive wit and sceptical voice, offering insight into his informal thoughts and working ideas.
