A very good back cloth hardback with gilt titles to spine. Housed in a very good original unclipped dustjacket, with light wear and some abrasion to extremities. Now housed in protective, removable, clear plastic sleeve. Soundly bound, with just a slight lean in the spine. Previous owner's 1953 inscription to first free endpaper.
Text is bright and clean throughout, with some spotting to edge of text block affecting the topmost marginal edge of some pages. Well-illustrated.
