The Battle of Waterloo, with Those of Ligny and Quatre Bras, described by Eye-witnesses and by the Series of Official Accounts published by Authority. To which are added, Memoirs of F. M. the Duke of Wellington, F. M. Prince Blucher, the Emperor Napoleon. Illustrated by maps, plans and views of the field, and thirty-four etchings from drawings. By George Jones, Esq., R.A.

Published by L. Booth, London, 1852. Eleventh Edition, Enlarged and Corrected.

A rather splendid copy of this fine work on the Battle of Waterloo. Finely bound with later maroon grained Morocco leather spine and corners, with raised bands, tooled gilt decorated spine and smoother red Morocco leather over boards, with gilt ruled decoration. All soundly bound.

Text is bright and clean throughout. Red top edge, and with page marker ribbon. Main front map with tape strengthened repair on its rear panel, not detracting from the lovely condition overall. Very smart indeed and good to find with all maps and plates present.
