A uniform group of volumes from The Uniform Edition of the Works of J. M. Barrie, published primarily by Hodder and Stoughton, comprising a selection of his plays and prose writings issued in early twentieth century editions. Produced in the publisher's characteristic blue cloth bindings with printed spine labels, the series presents Barrie's work in a consistent and recognisable format, with the majority of volumes drawn from The Plays of J. M. Barrie alongside a smaller number of prose titles from The Works of J. M. Barrie. The set includes a couple of stated first printings in this edition, including Peter Pan.,

The volumes comprise a mixture of titles from The Works of J. M. Barrie and The Plays of J. M. Barrie, published by Hodder & Stoughton, London (with two Cassell and Company volumes), and date from circa 1918 to 1929, including:

There are 7 Volumes of Plays and 4 Volumes of Works, all in uniform binding.

Overall condition is very good. The volumes are bound in blue linen hardback with pasted printed labels to the spines and front covers. There is some general wear and bumping, with light wear to the labels, and a small number of ownership inscriptions. All volumes remain soundly bound and present well as a uniform set. Some light spotting to text block edge and some toning to top edge of text block. Quality Street is a little faded to spine.
