Masterpieces of Chinese Enamel Ware in the National Palace Museum.
Published by the National Palace Museum, Taipei, Taiwan, Republic of China. 1971 first edition.
A fine orange cloth hardback in its original protective plastic cover as issued. With printed card slipcase in very good condition - some scuffing and wear, but all intact and sound. Text is bright and clean and soundly bound. A very nice copy.
Important Note:
These volumes published by the museum proved popular and were reprinted a number of times. We think the content remains unchanged.
The last free end paper carries a Japanese printer's label which indicated the year of printing - in this case, 1971.
The preface is dated to May 31, 1971. For this series, booksellers often quote the date in the preface as being the printing date - the printing date is always printed on a Japanese printer's label near the back. If this is missing, then it is not a true first edition.
Text in Chinese and English.
