An attractive set of 4 vintage Mahjong Gaming Tile holders - equally suitable for modern use in games such as Scrabble and Dominoes. 

Cinnabar orange lacquer over wood. Handpainted with Chinese landscape and figure designs.

Marked to rear with manufacturer's mark of Lau Sing Lee Ware, Foochow.

Hinged top opens to hold circular gaming counters/tokens/coins. 5 interior compartments.

In good vintage condition - showing signs of wear and usage, but a very usable set today.

Dimensions: approximately 425mm long x 32mm high x 70mm deep (105mm when lidded compartment is extended).

Usable tile length approximately 409mm.

Unpacked weight of set approximately 1.35kg.
